With offices in Sydney CBD, South West Sydney & the Newcastle, Coutts is a growing law firm provides quality legal services to clients in a range of areas including Environmental, Local Government and Planning, Family law, Employment law, Commercial law, wills & probate and property matters. The business requires a passionate and dedicated Legal Secretary full time in our Narellan office working to support our teams across various areas of law including Personal Injury, Wills, Estates, Commercial and Property.
Job tasks and responsibilities
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a dynamic, young, successful law firm and a team of vibrant, talented, strategic lawyers.
In your new role as a legal secretary, you will be responsible for performing a range of duties.
These will include:
- ✓Providing support to the Partners & Lawyers
- ✓Administration tasks including file management, back up reception, greeting clients, mail & banking
- ✓Email & Diary management of Lawyers
- ✓Typing and preparing documents
- ✓Preparing briefs
- ✓Corresponding and communicating with a range of third-party stakeholders
- ✓Screening calls and taking enquiries
- ✓Customer service and client management
- ✓Monthly invoice management for team
What you’ll need to succeed
- ✓Experience as legal secretary
- ✓Ideally have experience with workers compensation
- ✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ✓The ability to liaise with people on all levels
- ✓Microsoft Word and Outlook proficiency
- ✓Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- ✓The ability and willingness to take initiative, self-motivate and work independently
- ✓Ideally have experience in LEAP.
- ✓A NSW Drivers license.
- ✓A keen interest in Law.
