Job tasks and responsibilities

In this role, you’ll represent clients in the area of Family Law. Your key responsibilities will include providing compassionate and skilled legal advice in separation, divorce, property settlements, and parenting arrangements, with a client-focused approach, offering clarity and support during challenging times, ensuring both top-tier service and effective delivery.

You’ll bring to the role:

  • Proven experience advising clients on various Family Law matters is required.
  • A solid grasp of Family Law legislation.
  • The ability to negotiate effectively with external providers, ensuring top-notch service delivery.
  • Proficiency in working both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience in handling and managing a portfolio of cases.
  • Familiarity with the Leap software.
  • A meticulous approach with a keen eye for detail.

About You

As a Licensed Conveyancer, you will play a crucial role in our conveyancing team in handling residential and commercial property transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career in the legal property sector.

Skills and experience required:

  • Licensed Conveyancer in New South Wales with at least 2 years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process and property law.
  • Excellent knowledge in PEXA, stamping, and searching platforms.
  • High attention to detail with strong research and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products and LEAP.
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication with clients and all parties.

About the Opportunity

Based in our Narellan Office, this is a full-time position. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with all aspects of the conveyancing process, including file management, preparing correspondence to clients and other firms, undertaking property searches, contracts and preparing settlement figures.
  • Inputting data to PEXA and LEAP.
  • Ensuring all documentation is accurate and filed correctly.
  • Manage conveyancing files from Initial instruction through to settlement
  • Prepare, review, and advise on contracts and related documentation
  • Liaise with clients, real estate agents, lenders, conveyancers, and other stakeholders
  • Provide clear and timely advice on property related matters
