With over 15 years of experience, Melissa represents builders, construction companies, and tradespeople in matters spanning commercial disputes, building and construction litigation, debt recovery, risk management, and business advisory retainers.
Melissa joined Coutts in 2022 as a Senior Associate, was appointed Head of Litigation in 2023, and achieved Partnership in 2025 — all before the age of 40, while raising three children. Her rapid progression reflects not only her legal expertise but her reputation as a strategic problem-solver and trusted advisor to the building and business community.
