Job tasks and responsibilities
Coutts are seeking a motivated Legal Secretary to join our criminal team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and successful team of vibrant and talented legal professionals in Campbelltown.
As a Legal Secretary, you will be responsible for performing a range of duties including:
- ✓Providing support to the Partners & Lawyers
- ✓Administrative tasks such as file management, responding to emails, running debtors and WIP reports, diary management of Lawyers and monthly management of the invoicing for the team.
- ✓Typing and preparing a range of documents including briefs.
- ✓Corresponding and communicating with a range of third-party stakeholders.
- ✓Screening calls and taking enquiries as support to the client enquiry coordinator and team.
- ✓Corresponding and communicating with a range of third-party stakeholders
- ✓Customer service and client management
- ✓Support reception & reception duties where necessary including greeting clients & office duties.
What you’ll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have strong previous experience in a Legal Secretary role and have a passion for the legal field. In addition, you will also have:
- ✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- ✓The ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
- ✓Microsoft word and outlook proficiency.
- ✓Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- ✓The ability and willingness to take initiative, self-motivate and work independently.
- ✓Ideally have experience with LEAP software.
- ✓NSW Driver’s license.
- ✓Experience as Legal Secretary.
