65 Year Old Man Escapes Historical Sexual Assault Offences

Our client was a 65 year old man who was charged with historical sexual assault offences from a timeframe of between 30-40 years ago. The complainants were from two of his nieces. He maintained his not-guilty plea and proceeded to Trial in October 2022. During the trial, there were several inconsistencies which came out through the cross examination of the two complainants. Following the trial, the barrister instructed by Luisa defended strong objections from the prosecution and the jury ultimately agreed with the defence case. The jury found our client not guilty.
