Coutts have recently added employment, compensation and immigration law to their list of competencies. The new compensation division will focus solely on assisting the plaintiff, that is, the individual who sustained the illness or injury and is making the claim. Whereas, the employment division, will have the capacity to act for either the employer or employee.
No stranger to change, Managing Partner, Adriana Care, is notorious for strategically accommodating the ever-changing needs of the market and she believes, “that by expanding our service offering to include employment and compensation law, we are able to uphold our reputation for being our clients trusted holistic legal provider.”
The injury compensation and employment division will be under the direction of Coutts’ newest Partner, Karena Nicholls. Karena has an impressive 20 years’ experience in employment and compensation law. In her career, Karena has acted for over 900 clients and has a 98% success rate.
Over the last 4 months, Coutts Lawyers & Conveyancers have employed the expertise of another three senior personnel to further develop their competencies. In July, Coutts welcomed Adele Veness as Senior Associate in their Hunter Valley (Cessnock) office. Adele has over 10 years’ experience in government and administrative law, including environment and planning matters. More recently, Coutts were thrilled to welcome the addition of Amanda Olic as Senior Associate to their commercial division and head of immigration law. Amanda has practiced in both transactional and litigious matters with immense exposure to business transactions, commercial and corporation law, building and construction, real property, succession and immigration matters.
